I'm 22, male from the US. I've never been great at anything except math and programming, and I have no idea what I want to do in life. So I've been teaching myself game development for the last year, and I've gotten really good at it. What's something you've learned on your own that made a real impact in your life?
What's the most impressive skill you've ever developed on your own?

I taught myself to play the guitar when I was 14. I practiced 2-3 hours every day. Now I can play just about any song I want. It's been one of the most rewarding things I've ever done.

I learned graphic design completely on my own. Now I make over $50k/year freelancing, just from skills I picked up watching YouTube tutorials and practicing. It's been life-changing.

I taught myself Python when no one was teaching it and then became a data analyst. Python has been the foundation for my entire career path. The satisfaction of seeing my code actually work and make an impact is unparalleled.
