By participating in SHIPPEWRECK.EX, you agree to these terms. Read them carefully — we mean it.

1. Accepting the Agreement

By accessing or using SHIPPEWRECK.EX, you agree to be bound by these terms and our Privacy Policy. The event organizers reserve the right to update or change these terms without prior notice.

2. Eligibility

  • Must be at least 13 years old to participate.
  • Single participants or teams of up to 4 members.
  • Participants must be registered members of Hack Club at time of registration.

3. Rules of Engagement

By participating in SHIPPEWRECK.EX, you affirm the following:

  • ✅ Code Integrity: All code must be original and authored during the event.
  • ✅ No Cheating: No AI code generators, solution sharing, or unauthorized libraries.
  • ✅ Respect: Harassment or abuse of other participants is strictly prohibited.

4. Intellectual Property

All rights to the SHIPPEWRECK.EX event (including content, design, and branding) belong to Hack Club. Participant submissions may be shared publicly in event archives.

5. Changes to Terms

Hack Club reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without notice. Continued use of SHIPPEWRECK.EX confirms acceptance of the updated terms.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Participation constitutes acceptance of this choice of law.
